Work at McDonalds?

Fri Jun 19, 2009, 7:34 AM
I heard that it takes only 20 minutes to apply online, so it sounds ok to get some income over the long summer holidays.

Reason being is that my birthday is going to leave a massive hole in my bank account balance (I want those Converse shoes!). Currently I only have about 100 odd pounds, and that's not going to last the next year in college.

I might apply immediately after my birthday, it looks like it'll be 5 pounds 30 pence an hour, and with my work-a-holic attitude, I'll be raking in around 16 pounds each daily shift. That's more than my weekly EMA. I'll certainly be working during the day time, and I best prepare myself for verbal abuse from some illiterate customers. Ah well, nothing the Community Support officers can't deal with!

deviantID

I am a mock WW2 military historian, and I love to collect various items from the army surplus, paint, draw and build model railways.

I'm slowly pulling away from the manga style, but it still sticks to me like a limpet whenever I draw my RCH characters.

I challenge racists with a cast iron mouth, I spit upon urban gangsters and thugs and I present a chirpy optimism and a song by Monty Python to people who think the government is just one big conspiracy!
